Setting up your SPF record for CreataCRM Marketing Servers
This article direct you how to create a SPF record for our Marketing Server
What is a SPF
SPF allows the receiving mail server to check during mail delivery that a mail claiming to come from a specific domain is submitted by an IP address authorized by that domain's administrators. The list of authorized sending hosts and IP addresses for a domain is published in the DNS records for that domain. Why you need a SPF Record
Becasue you send emails for Quotes, Sales orders, Invoices etcet , you would like to send emails of your email Address, Because of this, We add your domain to send As from our STMP server. The issue in doing this, is the receiving mail server will check the delivery mail claiming to be you. They will review your SPF record on your domain. If we are not on these records, most reputable mail servers first check this first. When its not there, it add to spam. What you need to added for our Marketing server -
We need to add include:spf.postal.creatacrm.com , into your SPF
For example
Was
v=spf1 ip4:203.206.163.90 a:server1.creatacrm.com include:sparkpostmail.com
To
v=spf1 ip4:203.206.163.90 a:server1.creatacrm.com include:sparkpostmail.com include:spf.postal.creatacrm.com ~all
We add the include:spf.postal.creatacrm.com,
